The Rotary Club of LaGrange sponsors one Rotaract and two Interact Clubs. This year our club members focused on including these students in our activities and having the three organizations also work together on various projects.
Our LaGrange College Rotaract Club is growing its membership and is involved in projects both on and off their campus. Our Rotaract students now also attend our club meetings whenever they can fit it in with their class schedules. We have nurtured a welcoming atmosphere with them which benefits all of us. Rotaract members joined us .
The Troup High School Interact Club continues to run two blood drives, environmental cleanups, built beds for Troup County children.
The members of the West Georgia Interact Club are involved in lake cleanups, participate in Youth Service Day, and made and donated dog toys for our local Humane Society. Another two members will also represent us again in RYLA this year.
All three clubs were involved in the International Polio Awareness Day activities here in LaGrange, participated in the "Help Kiss Polio Goodbye" PolioPlus fundraiser and have been involved in our club meetings.
We are extremely lucky to have the opportunity to work with such dedicated Future Rotarians here in LaGrange.
