Our Rotary Youth Challenge Graduating Seniors

This is the fifth year that we have RYC Students who are graduating from high school. Raina Dietzel, Raekwon Dynasty McCall and Aidan Michael Morales are scheduled to graduate this May. These three students have been in the program for the past 11 years, and hopefully will be leaving to start their post secondary school education.

During the 2024 June club celebration recent high school graduates Claire New-Matthews and Oni Smith were present along with their families to be recognized as the Rotary Club's scholarship recipients. Claire was accepted at Columbus State while Oni was accepted at Georgia Southern.  Both students had their scholarships sent directly to their colleges.

The LaGrange Rotary Youth Challenge Program was designed to motivate young students to work to their full potential, graduate high school and to continue onto a post high school learning environment. Since the 2009 conception of the program by Rotarians Fred Jones and Bill Price we work each year to become more effective for our participating students.

Each student will have credited $1,500 in their college accounts to help them in their post high school education. Congratulations to our RYC graduates.
