FAMILY OF ROTARY

Our membership cares deeply about the needs and concerns of our members. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to reach out in friendship when such concerns arise. The chairperson of this committee is Lynne Lindsey and all news should be directed to her at lynnehlindsay@outlook.com

President's Message

Like-Minded, Same Passion, One Goal

I hope you were able to attend last weeks meeting where our new Mayor Wilson discussed the hard work our government leadership has done in the first 100 days of Kurt's term in office.   It appears that the city council, the mayor and his staff all have the same passion and goal to make Roswell THE best place to live in American.  Thank you Mayor Wilson.

Tonight (Tuesday of this week), we will be inducting 16 new members into our club through the Roswell Rotary After Hours club.  The energy of this group is contagious and I can safely say we have lowered the average age of our club overnight!  This group meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at the Artillery room.  Come introduce yourself to our new members!

Next Meeting April 5 The Artillery Room @Gate City

PLANNING MEETING RECAP:

After Hours members met on Tuesday at Variant  Brewing for an informal planning meeting. While we only expected a small handful to attend, we had 10 (yes, TEN) members show up with enthusiasm ready to get involved. We discussed how meetings will run, what officer positions we have in place and still need filled, and countless service project ideas! Watch out, because After Hours is ready to make a big splash in the community!

NEXT MEETING, 4/5:

Our next meeting will be at 6:30 on Tuesday, April 5th at our favorite local watering hole, The Artillery Room @ Gate City. This will be extra special because over a dozen founding members will be officially inducted into Roswell Rotary. Everyone is invited to share this special evening with us. A couple Rotary VIPs will be there, too! We can’t wait!

REMINDERS:

After Hours meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at The Artillery Room @ Gate City. Text AFTERHRS to 81411 to stay in the loop.
