Rotarians Giving: Red Cross Blood Drive
To celebrate our Rotary Club’s 100th birthday, the Rotary Club partnered with the American Red Cross to collect 100 units of blood. Service Chair, John Harrell, and Secretary, Holly Long, were the primary Rotarians spearheading this partnership with John taking the lead.
The reception to this partnership has been fantastic and 116 units have been collected so far! We have enjoyed this partnership so much that we are continuing it into our 101st year and onward. Our most recent blood drive collected 26 units of blood on a goal of 23 units! The 116 units collected so far have saved up to 348 lives!
